ROLE DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a Chief Mechanic to lead our Eurocup 3 team full-time at our Valencia headquarters. The main focus of this role is to ensure the maintenance, repair, and preparation of bodywork components, mainly made of carbon fiber and fiberglass, with precision and quality while complying with technical regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare bodywork parts and spares to be race-ready.- Coordinate and perform maintenance and repairs on carbon fiber and fiberglass components.
- Assemble bodywork parts accurately ensuring proper fit and finish.
- Assess bodywork condition after each event and determine repair needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years experience in auto body repairs, including sanding, puttying, and painting.- Knowledge of working with composite materials such as carbon fiber, fiberglass, resins, and two-component systems.
- Experience in motorsport is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Formal education in auto body repair or automotive technician is a plus but not essential.
