The third and final weekend of the Spanish Winter Championship took place in Los Arcos, Navarra, generating strong emotions and memorable results for the Tecnicar by Amtog team.

In qualifying for the opening race, Sacha Van’t Pad Bosch finished 15th, Nacho Tuñón 24th, Wiktor Dobrzanski 30th and Andrej Petrovic 19th. The first race brought significant progress, with final positions of P12, P17 and P26 respectively, and a solid P8 for Andrej, who scored valuable points for the team.

The sprint race had a day with mixed results. Although Wiktor had a promising start, an accident put him out of the competition. In the end, the team finished the race in a 15th position for Sacha, 21st for Nacho and 14th for Andrej.

Qualifying for the second race of this weekend brought great news, with Andrej achieving an incredible second position, Nacho a sixth and Sacha an eighth. Wiktor started from the twenty-ninth position.

In the last race, Andrej made history by becoming the first driver to win a race for Tecnicar by Amtog in Navarra. Sacha finished in a creditable P10, Wiktor crossed in P22 and, unfortunately, Nacho had to retire after a mistake on the first lap.

This weekend closes with an unforgettable moment for the team, scoring points and marking a before and after in the season.

Andrej Petrovic: “First win for the team in the history of the team, so I’m really happy I can help them to bring this. We knew it was coming in the past two rounds, we had really good speed and it was just a matter of time”

Nacho Tuñón: “Today was a mixed bag, we had a very good qualifying session finishing in P6, but an incident on the track on the first lap put us out of the race. It’s a shame, we had a very good pace. We’ll learn and keep going.”
