The Spanish Formula 4 continued its championship in Estoril, the fifth round of the championship, after returning from the summer break last week.

The weekend started with a collective test to get to know the track and gather a lot of information for the rest of the weekend. The team showed certain virtues, taking into account that the points zone would be very expensive.

During the first qualifying of the weekend, Hiyu Yamakoshi showed great potential with the car, placing himself in thirteenth position from where he would start the first race.

The Japanese driver managed to stay in a good position and crossed the finish line in eighth position, obtaining his best result of the season and the first points of the weekend for the team. In addition, Tecnicar was reinforced with a seventeenth position for Eric Gené.

Sunday started with the second qualifying, where all the teams were very competitive, making it difficult to get a good starting position.

In race two, the team was able to move up the field, with Griffin Peebles taking seventeenth place. However, in the final race of the weekend, Yamakoshi was able to score again, crossing the finish line in tenth position.

Thus, another round of the championship came to an end. Next up, the team will have quite a challenge in Valencia.
